Cafe visitor
This morning, hubby and I met some friends in Moka, where we enjoyed a hot chocolate and raspberry muffin. During a strong breeze, a damson-fly flew in through the door. A damson-fly in a cafe, how random is that!!

Rabbit drowning
Sylvannas had a lucky escape this week, after he nearly drowned. The cunning little wotsit managed to jump 3.5 feet in a small, tight area to land on top of the water butt. In fact let me show you a picture of our water butt (green container on the right). This picture shows the new addition of a new lid; a garden trellis.
If any of you have rabbits, you'll know how intelligent they are. If they've tried and successfully done something once, then the next time will be done better =)
Here is Sylvannas relaxing in the afternoon sun!

Fabric purchase and quilt
This selection represents my purchase from the Quilt UK show that I attended yesterday with my sister. The top left is the beginnings and end product of a table coaster that I made whilst attending a workshop. The packet with the polystyrene egg, red and green fabric is a kit to be make a Christmas tree decoration and the 5 fat quarters of coloured and patterned fabric will be used for my quilt.
Let me show you my quilt, this is the first 12 squares of my 48 square quilt:
My Mum inspires me! She has recently returned home from a 5 week stay in hospital, while she was lying in bed she knitted squares to occupy her mind. Now that she is home, she has sewn all the squares together to making an amazing blanket. If Mum, can do it, so can you and I!

Garden
Hubby and I have done amazing work on the garden and now I want to show it off, so here are a few pic's =)
I LOVE it. The different eye-levels. The trees. The shed (that hubby built by himself - video of shed being built, posted earlier), the garden path that we laboured to mix cement and sand and then covered with blue and golden pebbles that remind me of the English coast. The rabbit house, with my two favourite bunnies. The lush green grass and our very own vegetable patch.
