Speaking of digging things up, whilst I was clearing away a few old books the other day, I came across this piece of work tucked into one of the pages. I painted this piece in 2006 and thought it needed a few bits of colour adding to it. So with my red crayon I set to work and I'm very pleased with the end result.

I can imagine the red petals falling from the sky colouring the landscape an intense crimson. Strange creatures lurking within archways, four legged carnivores and a red snake, all seeking shelter within the jagged walls of the Great Yello Castle.
