"Richard de Wych was born in 1197 and was the Bishop of Chichester. He performed a local miracle and ensured the continuing prosperity of a local town, Droitwich Spa. One of the town's brine springs had run dry, but after being blessed by Richard it began to flow again.
St Richard de Wych died in 1253 and was canonised nine years later. A beautiful mosaic made from millions of Italian glass tiles depicts his life and can be found in the Church of the Sacred Heart".
Me and a freelance artist are holding a workshop creating swords and shields in celebration of the life of St. Richard de Wych (1197-1253).
