View from Casares

View from atop Casares overlooking the valley with little hamlets, a single main road and dozens of wind turbines. In the far distance is Gibraltar with it's familiar Rock.

The church in the foreground was a ruin, refurbished with modern materials and is now used by locals as a meeting place. I used artistic licence - the rolling valley is more to the right of the church, rather than behind it, but as I was perched upon a rock making my sketch and notes, the wind was bitingly cold and so I quickly documented the landscape, and drew in the church afterwards, in a warmer more sheltered spot.
