The church in the foreground was a ruin, refurbished with modern materials and is now used by locals as a meeting place. I used artistic licence - the rolling valley is more to the right of the church, rather than behind it, but as I was perched upon a rock making my sketch and notes, the wind was bitingly cold and so I quickly documented the landscape, and drew in the church afterwards, in a warmer more sheltered spot.
Passionate for colour, reclaimed buttons and exploring the world. I love going on adventures, do you? Read my blog, leave a comment or send me an email.
